Kevin was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up with an interest in cartoons, anime, and video games. In college, he majored in art with the intention of working in animation and comics. His love for acting started during his senior year when he took his first acting class. After graduating, he began working as a graphic designer while trying to further his art career, but his passion for acting inspired him to switch his focus from illustration to pursuing voice acting professionally.

He has taken classes and had coaching with Academy of Voice Arts and Production, Global Voice Acting Academy, Real Voice LA, Sound On Studio, and more.
